Trying Again
PaperTrey Ink has new stamps. I thought I would try once again for their design team. One of their new sets is by Madras Design called It's A Celebration. Well the bow to me looked like a butterfly so I took it and the bottom of the hat to make a buterfly (I highlighted the stamps I used in pink on the right). Then I took a streamer to make the path of the butterfly. I made it all on vellum so it gave it a cool look but it also was easier to piece together.

This is really great. The butterfly is so light and fluttery. Good luck, I think it is a winner for sure!!
The butterflies are really clever, and I love the way you inked the background. Good luck!
If at first you don't suceed, try try again, right? The card is beautiful, I love what you did with the butterfly!
You are so SMART to turn that bow into a butterfly. It looks great in vellum. :0) Mel
Oh how cute! Love the idea of using the images for something other than the obvious (not that I am good at that, but I love it when others do it) How awsome it would be to get on a designer team! I really hope it works out for you. Maybe someday I will be "brave" like you and try out for one! Good Luck!!!
Pretty card! I love your idea of the butterfly.
this is perfect! did you CB then chalk the background? how'd you do that? love the vellum (sp?)butterfly, you're so ingenious!
