it's seems like on everything. Anyway, so Colleen over at Distintive Touches tagged me last Monday and yes I'm just now getting to it. Ok so it goes:
Here are the rules:
1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4.Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.
Ready to play?
1. I'm deathly afraid of snakes...don't even really like pictures of them. There's no rhyme or reason behind it just am.
2. I "speak" fluent American Sign Language and have for the past 12 years.
3. I have very eclectic taste. If you ask me what my favorite of anything is, I will more than likely tell you I don't know because I love so many different things. I favor different things at different times but I can't truly say I have favorites.
4. The very 1st crafting I did was making necklaces with letters beads that I bought from a store across from these apartments we lived in when I was in the 4th grade. I still make jewelry now just not with letter beads.
5. I have a scar on my jawbone from a spider bite but I don't consider myself to be scared of bugs or spiders...I'll still stomp them.
6. I'm not a girly-girl. I've always been a tom boy.
7. Have passport, will travel. But haven't done so since 2003.
Now, the hard part picking 7 people to tag.

Happy Anniversary
Brenda & Craig's anniversary was last Monday and they were celebrating their 7th. However her mom had a small gathering on Saturday for them with cake and ice cream. I spent all the night before trying to make this candle holder with etched glass following Lauren's directions. Personally I was disappointed because it was no where near as deep as I would have liked. This is obviously something I'm going to have to play with again to see if I can figure out. They however loved it. I put there initials on it and then used Inque Boutique to put swirls coming out from their monogram. As you can tell even from the pic below that it didn't come out that deep. Oh well!
New News
I just wanted to let everyone that mom came out of surgery just fine. She ended up not having to have valve replacement after all and only three bypasses were needed, which is great news and we were all very excited.
Now we are in ICU, and have been for the last 4 days. According to what I understand the heart surgeon we have is a very conservative one and likes everything to be perfect before he lets anyone go out of ICU. Which is good in one aspect, it is also extremely aggravating in another.

Just a Quick Update
The doctor has postponed the surgery to Thursday at 8:30 am. I will post as soon as I can on how everything went. I'm sorry I haven't posted earlier but I've been running back and forth to the hospital & work.

Off the Beaten Path
So I ventured a little off into off of my regular crafting trail. Let's just say I'm not sure that I will be doing anything like this again. I was just trying to replicate something that I saw at IKEA that I loved but knew I couldn't afford. I figured I might try to replicate it Granted I did do this a while ago but I thought I might share this with you now so maybe you wouldn't feel I was totally neglecting you.

Pampered Chef
So this weekend I went to a Pampered Chef party and although I didn't get get anything and the reason I am sharing this at all is the good time that I had with everyone there. The people that threw the party are some of my very good friends and I always love hanging out with them. Even after we were done with it we watched Eddie Izzard stand up, who by the way is hilarious.
