My mom, who is one of my most best and closest friends, went for a heart catherization today. We found out she's gonna need a quadruple bypass and possibly valve replacement. However she first has to have her blood count raised from 12.5 since we don't take blood transfusions.

My mom, who is one of my most best and closest friends, went for a heart catherization today. We found out she's gonna need a quadruple bypass and possibly valve replacement. However she first has to have her blood count raised from 12.5 since we don't take blood transfusions.

Sending good thoughts to you and your mum! My dad had the bypass part (not the valve replacement), almost 2 years ago and is doing great. It is truly amazing how quickly people recover from that surgery!
