A Couple of Things

Product Review

Ok one thing I wanna tell you about is product I just got and start trying. It's the MM Paper Trimmer. I got it using a 50% coupon for Michael's. I used it last night working on a swap and happened to see where it said it could cut through two sheets of paper. I said ok, well let's see. I was working with PTI's new color match cardstock which is #110. I thought this would be a good test. It cut through it like buttah I tell ya, buttah!!! The cool thing is that it is self sharpening. See I was using a Cutterpede which had an arm that you folded out when you wanted to cut larger than 5". Now don't get me wrong, I loved my Cutterpede...what I didn't like was how flimsy that arm was.

Now the MM Cutter folds in half at 6" & you don't even have to unfold it to cut.

Swaps
I have been on a swap binge lately. Every so often I get on a binge to sign up for a bunch of swaps. Then I get burned out and don't do them for a while. Well, this one is Swap 2 of the ones I've signed up for lately and this is for Papertrey Ink theme.

Very cute card and great review. Might have to check that item out. I have a Fiskar, the cheapy one, but I don't like how if I cut fast it'll create a curve and then I don't have a straight paper. Hate it!

Love your swaps, those colours are gorgeous together! I have the same paper cutter. I replaced my fiskars rotary (BAD BAD BEAST!) with it and have never looked back. You do have to line up with the lines and not the edge but then you get THE most lovely straight lines. Can you tell I am in love, lol. It's paid for itself in what it would have cost me in blades by now... ;0) mel

I have this cutter and LOVE it. I use it all the time have had it a little over a year. The only thing that drives me nuts is the grid rubs off after having it for awhile in the middle of the cutter. But other than that I would buy another one in a heartbeat!
