In memory of what you may ask? One year and one week ago a thing called Hip Hop was started on Splitcoast. We all wondered what on what on earth? Hip Hop... you mean the music? NO!!! And thus begun a phenomenon that happened every Thursday that would suck you into it's vortex of fun with chatting and giveaways. Angela, the Goddess of Unity, has divined that the end of Hip Hop was yesterday but does that mean the fun is over? HARDLY!! Do we know what's up Angela's sleeve? Well, I don't...not yet at least, but I can't wait to find out.

Now onto the fun!! It's Friday and time for our Friday Fun Challenge. This week's challenge is to make something you can wear. Now although I did that I can't seem to take a good picture of it to save my life. I might have to bribe my sister to come take it.

These are so easy to make. The only thing is you have to make sure that the bobby pin is really in there because they can come loose. I wear mine all the time and love them.

All Kinds of Good Stuff

When you have good stuff to share where do you start? And somebody smart better not say at the beginning because there's no beginning. I just hope I don't miss anything.

2) I was a little down last week and I got cards from two of the sweetest girls, Sherry and Jan, to cheer me up. Thank you girls so much because I got a huge smile on my face just seeing the envelopes.
3) I am still celebrating my blogaversary. I've been cleaning up craft room and I came across some things that I thought you gals might like. So I have a mystery pack to give away but don't worry it will be filled with all kinds of good stuff. Please leave a comment by Monday, the 24th at 10 pm.

Bling It Up Baby

It's my month to challenge you to have fun, so are you ready? This Friday's Challenge is to Bling it Up. What's your definition of bling? For me, it's glitter, rhinestones, and pearls. I would love to know what you guys think. In the meantime I'll show you what I made. I wore it at CHA, I made it with different Unity images.If you guys really want a tutorial let me know and I think I can make one up for ya. These are really easy to make. It's just a matter of patience.

Ever have one of those weeks? I keep feeling like I'm stuck in one like the movie Groundhog Day. So the fact that another week is over is YEAH to me right now. It was my week to host the Friday Fun Challenge and I choose the cover of the book I just finished reading to use as inspiration. I thought it looked pretty cool.

Welcome Back Hip Hop Hangover

I have a confession to make, I missed all of Hip Hop yesterday. I was so busy yesterday with taking my grandmother to the doctor and trying to catch up on projects that it was about 12 o'clock before I knew it.

Wednesday was my parents' anniversary and it was their 42nd. So I was working on their card tonight because we are celebrating it this weekend. Plus other gifts that I'm going to give them but I'm not going to show until my week of Growing in Unity.

Crazy, I'm Going Crazy

This has been one crazy week at work.  I've had to put in all kinds of long hours which means I haven't had a lot of play time.  However tonight I made the time because I wanted to do Wednesday's Unity Addict challenge and then Jeanne also challenged us to be "golden" tonight (ie use something golden in one of our projects).

I can't even tell you the last time I did a scrapbook page layout.  But here it is, I've done one.  It's when Liam got rewarded with a trip to Stone Mountain.  I don't know if these pics are actually in the order then happened but it looks like they are on my page (a story).

A Hip Hop, A Hip to the Hop

Yes, it's that time again.  Time for another hangover the one without the headache or other aftereffects of alcohol, well most of them.  If you hung out with us yesterday you may be tired.  Some cut out a little early to head to the movies.  There were a lot of specials going on yesterday including free shipping on all orders over $25 (these are still good until 12 noon CST).

One of yesterday's challenges was to make a Think Snow Challenge.  I went a little overboard on it and it didn't exactly come out as I imagined it in my head.  I used the new November KOM.

I put 11/12 because we're not really sure if it's week 11 or 12 of {HIP HOP}ping. That's what happens when you are too busy having fun you lose track of time. And we do have a blast every Thursday, it starts at 10am CST til midnight. Because we do stay up so late we have a hungover party every Friday.
