Alright this is where my Wednesday isn't so Whimsical. I've been working some major hours at work so far this week which means I haven't been able to create anything. Plus I think I might be coming down with a cold. I'm hoping when I get home from work today I'll be able to make something up real fast but in the meantime maybe you can check out the other Daredevil girls.

She’s Gotta Bun

In the oven. A couple of friends of mine are having their second baby. And if we’re basing on the 1st, Brodrick, he’s going to be absolutely adorable. The 2nd is going to be a boy also and the name they have picked out as of right now is Logan. Tonight we had a baby shower for them at her brother’s house. We had a really nice time. I made them a few things and gave them the green frog you see in the pic on the left.

Rain, Rain

Go Away!! Ok, so far it’s not raining.  I probably should have made this card last week but when I saw this image, I thought it was fitting.  Cause sometimes it’s not always about the rain from the sky (yes I realize I’m getting philosophical now).  Sometimes it’s under the premise of when it rains it pours.  With all of that in mind I will tell you that Sherry did challenge us to use purple.

It's Friday & I'm Bad

Well, I don't know that I've been bad per se. I got home last night with a migraine and couldn't do too much stamping other than go to bed but when I get home today I will have something glorious (or I hope!) to show you for FWF & FFC.

A Vintage Color Dare

I tried to tell you I was on a theme this week.  Not sure if I can carry it off for 2 more days though.  I’ll try.  I think it was mainly because I was on a roll after those wonderful challenges from the Moxie Fab blog, then putting away my awesome new images… it kinda gets you inspired.  Know what I mean?

I even used the Dare colors for this week to fit into my theme.

Pretty colors right?  I love them.  I might have to use them again on something else.  Now, I’m not exactly sure I like my card but well I’ll let you decide.

I’m Seeing A Theme

Ok, it’s just a theme in my stuff this week.  I seem to be on a roll with all the vintage schtuff.  I hope you aren’t going to be sick of it by the time I’m finished.

First things first, as I promised I got the pictures of not only my Bubbie but of my Zadie too.  I will only post a couple because lemme tell you a scanned quite a few.  Now just to choose the few to show you…hmmm.

A couple of weeks ago I discovered another stamp company… I know, I know like we need to discover another one.  This one is called Sweet Impressions Stamps and I gotta tell ya I fell in love with their vintage images.  I was supposed to work with them this weekend in Columbia, SC but then it snowed here in the deep south.   Well we’re not prepared for no snow, no siree bob.  So I wasn’t able to go, but I did make this for the occasion nonetheless.

I want candy!

When I saw the Tuesday Trigger for this week, that song “I Want Candy”.   Looks yummy doesn’t it?!    It’s called you’ve been pinked.  I ran with the whole pink thing.  I don’t need an excuse to go monochromatic.  I have a bad problem with once I get in a color niche getting to come out of it.  I’m always telling myself I can use other colors too.
